Edition 2025 — Ivrea Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Historic Carnival of Ivrea took place from March 1 to 4, with the Battle of the Oranges on the main day, Sunday, March 2. The nine teams of orange throwers on foot faced the horse-drawn carts in the city center squares, in a re-enactment filled with history and popular participation that confirmed Ivrea as the capital of the Piedmontese Carnival.

In 2025, the Historic Carnival of Ivrea enlivened the city from March 1 to 4. The presentation of the Miller's Daughter from the Town Hall balcony opened the festivities on March 1 at 9:00 PM, followed by the historical pageant, the torchlight parade, and the fireworks display. The heart of the edition was the Battle of the Oranges on Sunday, March 2, with the horse-drawn carts divided between the inner route (Piazza Ottinetti and Piazza di Città) and the outer one (Borghetto and Piazza del Rondolino). In 2025, the festival once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the center of Ivrea, in the Province of Turin.
