Edition 2025 — Acate Carnival
The 2025 Historic Carnival of Acate was held in Acate, in the province of Ragusa, from Saturday, March 1 to Tuesday, March 4, confirming its status as one of the most colorful and popular carnivals in Southeastern Sicily.
The float parade began on Saturday, March 1 at 5:00 PM along Corso Indipendenza and Piazza Matteotti, with the "back in time" opening party in Piazza Libertà. The following days featured morning and afternoon parades, baby dance performances, street food, and musical evenings, including the "Allegria Italiana" party. The final day concluded with the awards ceremony for the floats and costumed groups. The event, organized by the Municipality of Acate, was free to attend.
