Edition 2025 — Hip Hop Cinefest

The fifth edition of Hip Hop Cinefest took place on May 9th and 10th, 2025, at the Casa della Cultura in Torpignattara, Rome. For this edition, 115 projects from 26 countries were selected: documentaries, short films, features, experimental works, series, and music videos, accompanied by free debates and workshops.

The fifth edition of Hip Hop Cinefest brought two days dedicated to cinema born from hip hop culture to the Casa della Cultura in Torpignattara, Rome. The 2025 selection brought together 115 works from 26 countries, including feature films, documentaries, short fiction films, experimental projects, web series, and music videos. Alongside the screenings, the program offered debates and workshops, with a particular focus on non-formal educational processes and urban culture as intangible world heritage. All events were free to attend, confirming the festival's popular and participatory vocation in the Lazio Region.
