Hillside Romanesque Network — Open Churches (San Giovanni in Berzano)

The 2025 edition of the Hillside Romanesque Network continued its established formula: the abbeys and Romanesque churches located between the Po and the Monferrato hills, surrounding the Santa Maria di Vezzolano abbey, were opened to the public on the first Sunday of every month from April to October, with morning and afternoon hours and free admission. The church of San Giovanni Battista in Berzano di San Pietro (Asti province) joined the circuit alongside other parish churches in the Monferrato area. During each opening, overseen by volunteers, visitors were able to have a stamp placed on the RRC General Postcard for each church visited, as a memento of their journey through the Romanesque heritage of the hills.
