Edition 2025 — Highlander Adventure

In 2025, Highlander Adventure did not yet have a stage in Val di Sole: the international multi-day trekking format was active in other European contexts, particularly in Croatia on the Velebit massif, where it was born in 2017. It was during 2025 that the first Italian edition was announced and prepared, with Ossana chosen as the debut venue in Val di Sole for June 2026.

Until 2025, Highlander Adventure did not yet have an Italian stage: the multi-day trekking format, born in Croatia in 2017, took place mainly on the Velebit massif, with its Hercules, Pegasus, Orion, and Lyra formulas ranging from 24 to 100 kilometers.

During 2025, the decision was made to bring the event to Italy and, in particular, to Val di Sole, identifying Ossana and its Castel San Michele as the base for the first national edition, scheduled for June 5-7, 2026. The collaboration between the organization Bewild and the Val di Sole Tourist Board laid the foundations for the Italian debut in the Municipality of Ossana, in Trentino.
