Edition 2025 — Hazelnut Festival

The 2025 edition of the Raccuja Hazelnut Festival took place on Saturday, November 1st. A gastronomic trail featuring Nebrodi hazelnut specialties wound along Via Butera, accompanied by a craft market, typical product stalls, and live music. A day organized by the Unione Giovani Raccujesi that combined taste, tradition, and discovery of the Messina village.

The Hazelnut Festival of Raccuja (ME) returned on Saturday, November 1, 2025, confirming itself as one of the most popular autumn festivals in the Nebrodi Mountains. The village came alive with the gastronomic trail along Via Butera, where stalls offered numerous variations of the local hazelnut: from savory dishes to desserts, as well as artisanal liqueurs and spirits.

The event, curated by the Unione Giovani Raccujesi, combined tastings with a craft market, stalls of typical products, live music, and urban trekking to discover the Castello Branciforti, the Silk Museum, and the alleys of the historic center. A formula that attracted visitors from all over the Nebrodi region to celebrate the fruit that symbolizes Raccuja's economy.
