Hazelnut Festival

The 9th edition of the Ucria Hazelnut Festival was held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, enlivening the Nebrodi village in the province of Messina. Food stalls along Via Gaetano Algeri opened at 5:00 PM, offering tastings of hazelnut-based products and local specialties. From 7:00 PM, the famous pasta with hazelnut pesto took center stage, accompanied by chestnuts, tuma cheese, ricotta, and Nebrodi wine.

At 10:00 PM, at the Arena Comunale, the grand finale featured a concert by the Roman singer-songwriter Massimo Di Cataldo, who performed his most famous hits, including songs presented at the Sanremo Festival. The event, organized by the Cultural and Social Association for the Protection and Valorization of the Hazelnut, drew visitors and residents for a festive evening dedicated to the "Gold of the Nebrodi."
