Hazelnut Festival

31st edition: September 12-14, 2025

The 2025 edition of the Hazelnut Festival was held in Baiano from September 12 to 14, organized by the Pro Loco presided over by Mariella Del Basso with the support of the municipal administration led by Mayor Enrico Montanaro.

The food and wine stalls were distributed between Piazza Santo Stefano, Piazza Francesco Napolitano, and the Villa Comunale, with the usual hazelnut-based menu: Pasta al Pesto di Nocciola, meatballs with fondue, thin-sliced beef with hazelnut cream, montanara, gourmet sandwiches, and artisan desserts.

Regarding entertainment, the folk group 'A Muntagna e Somma, the Lucio Battisti tribute by Lucio e Dintorni, Salamone ONE Bang Bang, Soul Palco, La Banda del Torchio, and I Picarielli took turns, while the Villa Comunale hosted the dance area managed by the local tango community. At the Teatro Colosseo, curated by Saverio Bellofatto, there were papier-mâché works by Cettina Prezioso dedicated to Ulysses and the Blue Fairy, miniature nativity scenes by Nino Pecchia, apotropaic masks from the Laboratori della Contea nolana, and a photographic exhibition by Joseph Noviello on the Festa del Maio.

On Sunday, September 14, the event was also open for lunch, with street artists, roaming music, and guided excursions by reservation.
