Harmonies in the Breathing Villages 2025 — the second edition
After the debut of the first edition, in 2025 the Sirente-Velino Regional Natural Park series brought classical music to numerous communities in the L'Aquila mountains, in Abruzzo. The first concert was held on Saturday, June 14, in the Church of San Teodoro in Massa d'Albe, at 9 PM.
The calendar then saw pianist Maria Gabriella Castiglione perform in various villages of the park, including Rocca di Mezzo, Secinaro, Fagnano Alto, Ocre, Tione degli Abruzzi, and Castelvecchio Subequo, between June and September. Each stop transformed the churches and squares of the small municipalities of the Sirente-Velino into intimate concert halls, bringing great classical music closer to the mountain village communities.
