Edition 2025 — Hanging Caciocavallo Festival
How it went in 2025
The 2025 edition, the fourth of the event, was held from Friday, August 8th to Sunday, August 10th in the hamlet of San Sossio di Serino (AV), in the usual space of the square next to the church, on Via Giovanni Masucci.
On that occasion, the two protagonists were once again the hanging caciocavallo, suspended over coals and served stringy on warm bread, and the pittulone, the traditional local flatbread. The program was built around three evenings of taste, live music, and family fun, with bands and DJ sets alternating on stage, food stalls, and inflatables for children.
Admission remained free, following the formula that has characterized the festival since its first edition, and the event confirmed its ability to attract visitors from all over Irpinia during the central days of August.
