Edition 2025 — Hangartfest

The XXII edition of Hangartfest took place in Pesaro from September 5 to 21, 2025, with the theme of myth as a guiding thread, reinterpreted as a vital force that generates images, visions, and languages. The festival featured 24 events, including 18 performances (including encores) by 13 companies, with 5 national premieres and 3 co-productions, animating symbolic city locations such as the National Rossini Museum, Palazzo Gradari, and Villa Imperiale.

The XXII edition of Hangartfest was held in Pesaro from September 5 to 21, 2025, with myth as the central theme: a vital force that generates contemporary images, visions, and languages.

The program brought together 24 events – including world premieres, national premieres, co-productions, special projects, encores, and off-program events – with 18 performances (including encores) presented by 13 companies, of which 5 were national premieres and 3 were co-productions. In its capacity as a widespread festival, the edition animated the National Rossini Museum, the Antonia Pallerini Hall of Palazzo Gradari, and, for the third year, Villa Imperiale with site-specific performances in the San Bartolo Park.

The opening, on Friday, September 5, at La Maddalena, featured the world premiere of Honeymoon, a solo by Swiss choreographer Sebastian Zuber blending contemporary dance and multimedia languages. On Sunday, September 7, resident choreographer Michele Ifigenia Colturi presented the world premiere of Atteone, Prologo, the first chapter of his three-year residency (2025-2027).
