Edition 2025 — Haflinger Kirchtag

The 2025 edition of the Haflinger Kirchtag, held on August 16 and 17 in Avelengo/Hafling, had a special significance: it coincided with the 75th anniversary of the Musikkapelle Hafling. Two days of great celebration at the church of Saint Catherine, featuring brass music, dancing, South Tyrolean specialties, and family entertainment.

Haflinger Kirchtag 2025: the band's 75th anniversary

In 2025, the Haflinger Kirchtag took place on Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17, in Avelengo/Hafling, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the Musikkapelle Hafling. The festival was held as per tradition under a large marquee near the church of Saint Catherine (St. Kathrein).

On Saturday evening, the Scena (Schenna) brass band kicked off the dancing from 6:00 PM, followed by entertainment with Rifflblech from 8:00 PM and a festive atmosphere with Southbrass from 11:00 PM. On Sunday, after the 9:30 AM Holy Mass at the church of Saint Catherine, the anniversary celebrations began: from 11:00 AM, a midday aperitif with the Velturno (Feldthurns) band, at 1:00 PM the Verano (Vöran) band, and at 3:00 PM music with the group 4a Gsponn. There were also moments dedicated to children, with face painting and entertainment.
