Gustav Mahler Musikwochen - Concert at the Church of Santa Maddalena im Moos

The 2025 edition of the Gustav Mahler Musikwochen renewed the festival's commitment to combining top-tier music with the promotion of the Upper Puster Valley region. Alongside the major symphonic concerts in the Gustav-Mahler-Saal of the Grand Hotel Cultural Center in Dobbiaco/Toblach, the festival offered chamber music events, lectures, and excursions to the places that inspired Gustav Mahler, the Austrian composer deeply connected to these mountains.

The 'festival spread across the territory' formula brought music to neighboring municipalities again in 2025, including Villabassa/Niederdorf, highlighting fascinating spaces such as the valley's historic churches. A model that allowed the audience to experience great music in intimate and evocative settings in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
