Edition 2025 — GustArte

The ninth edition of GustArte took place from 21 to 24 August 2025 in the historic centre of Capocasale, in Durazzano. Four evenings with over thirty exhibitors from the Sannio and Caserta areas along a route of more than a kilometre, three wine masterclasses led by journalist Pasquale Carlo, workshops with Slow Food and Legambiente, an extra virgin olive oil masterclass, street theatre with the Tarantella Experience, and Sannio folk music concerts.

GustArte 2025, the ninth edition

From 21 to 24 August 2025, Durazzano, at the foot of Mount Jardino, hosted the ninth edition of GustArte, with the Capocasale district transformed into a journey of taste, sounds, and scents spanning over a kilometre, featuring more than thirty artisanal and agri-food exhibitors from the Sannio and Caserta areas.

The programme combined food, wine, and culture. The wine masterclasses led by journalist Pasquale Carlo highlighted the first three evenings with themes such as Wine and Cult, Wine and Conviviality, and Wine and Travel, the latter also dedicated to the Campanian Via Appia. From 22 to 24 August, three local restaurateurs served four-course menus in the courtyard of Palazzo Cice, home to the Artusi cooking school, while the gardens of Palazzo Stasi hosted wine-based aperitifs.

The programme was complemented by three workshops with Slow Food and Legambiente on local cuisine and waste recycling, an extra virgin olive oil masterclass on Sunday 24 August, and a natural cosmetics workshop by Terre di Janara. On the artistic front, Angelo Picone's street theatre brought the Tarantella Experience to the alleys, accompanied by the folk music of Fusciacca, Taraterrae, and Movimento Popolare Sannita.
