Edition 2025 — Guido Rey Moonlight Hike
The Guido Rey Refuge, in the Pré Meunier area above the village of Chateau Beaulard, is one of the reference points for summer hiking in the Oulx area, in the Upper Susa Valley. Open from June to the end of September, the refuge welcomes families and hikers along the scenic path that climbs from Chateau Beaulard to the larch trees at altitude in about an hour.
Evening and moonlit hikes to the refuge are part of the outdoor proposals that characterize the summer season in the area, amidst alpine panoramas, the quiet of the pastures, and the possibility of experiencing the mountains in a nocturnal atmosphere. The refuge, named after the alpinist and writer Guido Rey, remains one of the most beloved destinations in the Metropolitan City of Turin area.
