Edition 2025 — Cantelli Award
2025, the year of the relaunch
During 2025, the Fondazione Teatro Coccia of Novara announced the 14th edition of the Guido Cantelli International Award, confirming the historical bond between the competition and the city of Novara, in Piedmont. The announcement, released in the summer of 2025, presented the venues (Milan for preliminary rounds and semi-finals, Teatro Coccia in Novara for the final), the orchestra, and the composition of the international jury.
2025 thus represented the preparatory and launch phase of the competition, in anticipation of the rounds and the final in 2026, the year that celebrates the 70th anniversary of the great Novara-born maestro's passing.
