Guastedda of San Martino Festival

The 2025 edition of the Guastedda of San Martino Festival was held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, in Piazza Europa in Montedoro, in the province of Caltanissetta. The event was organized by the Municipality of Montedoro in collaboration with the Pro Loco and the Noela Carlotta association.

The star of the evening was the guastedda, the typical fried pastry of the Montedoro tradition linked to the Saint Martin celebrations, a symbol of conviviality and authentic flavors. The tasting of local products was accompanied by folk music from the Quintetto Sicano, which brought the joy and rhythms of the Sicilian tradition to the square. The event was part of the regional circuit "Le Vie del Cibo della Lunga Vita", promoted with the support of the Sicilian Region to enhance the food and wine heritage of the Sicani villages.

7:00 PM — Opening in Piazza Europa with tastings of guastedda and local products.

Followed by — Musical entertainment by the Quintetto Sicano, with folk music from the Sicilian tradition.
