Edition 2025 — Val Casies Alpine Hut Festival

The 37th edition of the Gsieser Almhüttenfest was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Santa Maddalena/St. Magdalena, in Val Casies. As per tradition, the festival began at 10:30 AM with a mass at the alpine hut and continued with a hike between the high-altitude huts, tastings of South Tyrolean specialties, live folk music, and a children's program.

The 37th edition of the Gsieser Almhüttenfest took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the village of Santa Maddalena/St. Magdalena, in Val Casies (Municipality of Valle di Casies/Gsies, South Tyrol). Respecting the rotation between the valley's villages, the edition brought visitors to the pastures above Santa Maddalena.

The day began at 10:30 AM with an open-air mass and continued with a hike from hut to hut, tastings of canederli, Speck, cheeses, Tirtlan, strudel, and Krapfen, accompanied by live folk music. There was also a treasure hunt for children and the convivial atmosphere typical of the South Tyrolean autumn festival.
