In 2025 too, the Carneval Vecc animated the first Sunday of Lent in Grosio, with the parade of the Old Masks and allegorical floats through the streets of the historic centre, confirming one of the most heartfelt folkloristic traditions of Valtellina.
The 2025 edition of the Carneval Vecc renewed the appointment with the first Sunday of Lent, bringing the traditional Old Masks and allegorical floats through the streets of Grosio. The procession, which started from the sports field in the early afternoon, crossed the historic centre amidst the festive crowd, keeping alive a popular tradition that the Grosio community has cherished for generations as a sign of its identity.
