Edition 2025 — Gropparello Carnival

In 2025, Gropparello Castle once again celebrated Carnival, transforming the manor and the Fairy Tale Park into a magical kingdom. A day dedicated to families with knights, fairies, witches, and wizards, a costume parade, face painting, and the traditional Carnival snack of 'chiacchiere' and fritters, alongside enchanting guided tours of the castle.

The 2025 edition of the Carnival at Gropparello Castle confirmed its popular family-friendly format: the castle, in the heart of the Piacenza Apennines, opened the doors of its Fairy Tale Park for a day of games and costumes. Knights, ladies, fairies, witches, and wizards welcomed visitors for an animated costume adventure, featuring a parade led by the royal drummer and a snack of 'chiacchiere' and fritters. Theatrical guided tours to discover the manor's halls and legends were also part of the festivities, in a weekend dedicated to the magic of Carnival in the province of Piacenza.
