Grilled Mortadella Festival

The 21st edition of the Grilled Mortadella Festival was held in Colledoro di Castelli (province of Teramo, Abruzzo) from Thursday, August 21 to Saturday, August 23, 2025. The festival, organized by the Carpe Diem Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Castelli, offered three evenings of food stalls featuring the famous grilled mortadella, arrosticini, and grilled sausages.

The program blended the religious dimension of the patronal feast, with the procession of patron saints Lucia and Macario and the community lunch, with a convivial and musical atmosphere, enlivened by live concerts, cover bands, DJ sets, and traditional briscola tournaments. In 2025, the festival reaffirmed its role as a key identity event for the hamlet's summer, attracting visitors from the entire Teramo Gran Sasso area.
