Edition 2025 — Grifo Festival

The first edition of the Grifo International Short Film Festival was held from March 7 to 9, 2025, at the Giacconi Theatre in Chiaravalle, dedicated to raising awareness against gender-based violence. 40 finalist short films were in competition, selected from 1052 works received from over ninety nations. Three days of free admission with screenings, meetings with directors, and debates, concluding on Sunday, March 9, with awards from the official and popular juries.

First Edition: March 7-9, 2025

The debut edition of the Grifo Festival in Chiaravalle (AN) received 1052 short films from Iran, the United States, Japan, and over ninety nations, with 40 works admitted to the final. The official jury was chaired by Maria Lina Vitturini, president of the Marche Equal Opportunities Commission.

Among the winners: Best Shortfilm to "Os Finais de Domingos" by Olavo Junior (Brazil), Best Director to Edo Tagliavini for "Lei" (Italy), Best Screenplay to Eleftheria Stefanouri for "Snap" (Greece), in addition to the popular jury's Grifo for "Peleas Fraternales" by Jerry Morales (Mexico) and the Kids' Grifo.
