Gressan-Pila – Cycling Climb

The 2025 edition of the Gressan-Pila did not take place. The Gruppo Sportivo Aquile di Aosta, organizer of the race, had to give up due to the impossibility of safely setting up the finish area in Pila, which was affected by the construction sites for the new cable car. A difficult decision for the organizers, who however emphasized that it was not a definitive cancellation but a postponement: the historic cycling climb is indeed back on the calendar for 2026. The 2025 break therefore did not break the continuity of one of the most beloved classics of Aosta Valley amateur cycling, eagerly awaited on the roads of the Giro d'Italia stage.
