"Greccio... The Nativity Scene" — Arts and Crafts Market for Nativity Scenes

The inauguration took place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at noon, in the heart of the ancient village of Greccio, a municipality in the Province of Rieti in Lazio. The market, set up in Piazza Roma, featured thirty wooden chalets where visitors could admire and purchase artistic and Christmas crafts related to the nativity scene, as well as entirely handmade gift ideas.

Calendar and hours

Opening days, from 10:00 to 18:00, included November 30 and December 1, December 6 to 8, December 14 and 15, the continuous period from December 21 to 31, 2024, and finally January 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2025.

Not just crafts

Alongside the exhibitors, there was space for the food and wine excellence of the territory and the charity stands of local volunteer associations. The event, organized by the Municipality of Greccio with the support of the Lazio Region, confirmed itself as one of the most visited Christmas events in the Sabina reatina.
