Edition 2025 — Greccio Green Code
2025 Edition
The second edition of the festival, under the artistic direction of Alessandro Cavoli of Teatro Rigodon, animated Greccio from July 4th to August 30th, 2025, with a calendar spread across all summer Saturdays and distributed in multiple locations within the municipal territory, in the province of Rieti.
The programme alternated between theatre, concerts, installations, and moments of reflection, with meetings and debates on environmental themes. The beating heart of the edition was the Community Play events on July 25th, 26th, and 27th, built on the direct involvement of the local community. Among the most attended evenings was the one on July 12th, featuring oriental dance and a fire show in the village.
The festival was realized with the support of the Lazio Region, the Municipality of Greccio, the Varrone Foundation, and Teatro Rigodon. All events were free of charge and designed for both adults and children.
