Great Scerni Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Great Scerni Carnival marked an important milestone: the fiftieth edition of the event. The main parade took place on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM, with sixteen allegorical floats along the streets of Scerni.

In addition to the floats created by the historic association and local groups, floats from Casalanguida, Gissi, Torino di Sangro, and Piano Ospedale took part in the parade. The rich program included mask shows, flag-wavers, face painting, DJ sets, and traditional fireworks. The fiftieth-anniversary celebrations continued in the following days with further festivities and the awarding of the winning floats.
