E...STATE CON NOI 2025

The 51st edition of the Great Mustache Festival enlivened Montemesola over the weekend of September 6-7, 2025, with Largo Osanna transformed into the Piazza dei Sapori. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Montemesola APS with the patronage of the Municipality and Unpli Puglia, once again combined the historic mustache and beard competition with food festivals and a rich program of shows, all with free admission.

During the two evenings, the female jury awarded the 2025 titles of Super Mustache, Super Beard, and Super Freestyle, while the public enjoyed Apulian specialties and live concerts until late at night.

Saturday, September 6

• 9:00 PM — Opening of the food festivals with typical dishes: fava bean purée, fried puccia with mortadella, maritati (orecchiette and fricielli), Biancaneve (fresh tomato, ricotta, and basil), bombette and capocollo from Martina Franca, caciocavallo impiccato, spaghetti all'assassina, roasted octopus, and fried fish
• Live music with Controrchestra Salento in tour
• 11:30 PM — DJ set

Sunday, September 7

• 9:00 PM — 51st Great Mustache Festival competition: parade of contestants and judging by the female jury for the titles of Super Mustache, Super Beard, and Super Freestyle
• Presentation of the Baffo Pro Loco d'Italia award (20th edition)
• Concert by Nunzio Laudadio (The Voice, Rai 1) accompanied by the Panama band
• Drag Queen Star Show
• Food festivals and children's entertainment throughout the evening
