Great May 1st Fair (Sant'Agnese Fair)

The 2025 edition of the May 1st Fair renewed one of the most deeply felt traditions of Montepulciano, in the province of Siena. From the early hours of the morning, the Banda Poliziana enlivened the streets of the historic center with the worker's wake-up call, followed by the parade from Piazza Grande towards the Church of Sant'Agnese, where Holy Mass was held with the offering of candles from the Contrade of the Bravìo.

Throughout the day, hundreds of merchant and exhibitor stalls occupied the main streets and squares of the village, while the funfair offered entertainment for young people and families. An event that, as every year, drew visitors to Montepulciano from across the Sienese Valdichiana.
