Great Festival of the Holy Cross

The 2025 edition of the Holy Cross Festival confirmed the strong bond between Montemurlo and its patronal tradition. The celebrations had their central moment with the solemn Holy Mass in the Pieve and the afternoon procession accompanied by the Montemurlo Historical Group and the "G. Verdi" Philharmonic. The Cross then reached the Sacro Cuore church, where a mass was celebrated, before the journey continued towards the districts of the territory.

The festival continued in Piazza della Repubblica with food stalls managed by the Filiera Corta, performances by musicians and flag-wavers, and evening musical entertainment, confirming the dual religious and popular soul of an event that attracts the entire Montemurlo community every year.
