Edition 2025 — Festival of Capunsel
In 2025, the Great Festival of Capunsel also animated Solferino on the first weekend of July, with Alto Mantovano capunséi as the stars of the tables, alongside traditional main courses, desserts, local wines, and evenings of music, organized by the Confraternita del Capunsel.
The 2025 edition of the Great Festival of Capunsel took place on the first weekend of July in the center of Solferino. The Confraternita del Capunsel once again offered the symbolic specialty of Alto Mantovano — capunséi flavored with crumbled amaretti — along with traditional main courses, desserts, and local wines, with live music and activities for families. The festival confirmed its role as guardian of a gastronomic heritage protected as a Traditional Agri-food Product.
