Great Carnival of Vado-Monzuno

The first edition of the Gran Carnevale in Vado took place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Piazza della Libertà, in Vado di Monzuno (BO), meeting with great success. The masked parade through the town's streets saw the participation of over 250 participants, including children and adults, divided into sixteen groups evaluated by a jury with scores from 1 to 10.

The festival, organized by the Municipality of Monzuno and the Pubblica Assistenza of Vado with the support of local businesses, offered inflatables, dance and singing performances by Calypso Fox and Balena Rodriguez, and stalls with crêpes, tigelle, crescentine, mulled wine, and roasted chestnuts. After the awards ceremony, all participants received a commemorative gift. The winning groups were "I Vichinghi" (originality), "Indovina chi umano" (largest group), "Biancaneve e i sette nani" (youngest group), and "Le mamme boomer e figlie" (funniest group).
