Great Bonfire of the Geoubia

In 2025, the Great Bonfire of the Geoubia renewed the ancient winter tradition at the end of January in Oggiona con Santo Stefano, in the province of Varese. The Pro Loco, with the patronage of the Municipality, organized the evening with food stalls, the lighting of the large bonfire, and a prize draw.

The event confirmed itself as the appointment that opens the town's festival calendar for the year, faithful to a custom that throughout Lombardy symbolically marks the transition from winter to spring.
