Edition 2025 — August Fair

On August 12, 2025, Monteverde hosted the Great August Fair, an unmissable event of the Irpinian village's summer. From 4:00 PM, the village streets transformed into a lively path between artisan stalls, food stands, and spaces dedicated to all ages, with a rich entertainment program for children consisting of games, workshops, and shows, in a day that attracted families and visitors from all over Alta Irpinia.

The 2025 edition of the Great August Fair took place in Monteverde, in the province of Avellino, on August 12, confirming the now-consolidated formula of a single day in the heart of summer.

Starting at 4:00 PM, the historic center of the village came alive with a long path of artisan stalls and food stands, accompanied by spaces designed for all ages. A large part was dedicated to the little ones, with games, workshops, and entertainment entrusted to entertainment groups, including the Superchicche, who accompanied the children throughout the afternoon.

Scents, traditions, and fun made the fair one of the most attended events of the Monteverde summer, in a village that is part of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy circuit and which finds its most lively dimension in August.

Programme

From 4:00 PM: opening of artisan stalls and food stands along the streets of the historic center; spaces dedicated to all ages. In the afternoon: entertainment for children with games, workshops, and shows, with the participation of the Superchicche. The event continued until the evening.
