Gravina City Theatre Festival — Sicilia Bedda

5th "Sicilia Bedda" Festival — August 28, 2025

The fifth edition was held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 9:00 PM at the "Turi Ferro" Amphitheatre in Parco Borsellino, Gravina di Catania. On stage, the Nuova Compagnia Odèon performed "Pani amuri e…timpulati", a brilliant two-act comedy by Pietro Barbaro, in the "Perfect Love" production by Paola La Rosa.

The direction was handled by Sebastiano Finocchiaro and Agata Raciti, with a cast of numerous actors including Sebastiano Finocchiaro, Rita Nicotra, Adriana Lo Castro, Agata Raciti, and Carmelo Marino. The comedy revolved around the hilarious events of the Russo family, amidst marital crises and plot twists. Admission was free. The festival was strongly supported by the municipal administration led by Mayor Massimiliano Giammusso.

The dialect comedy "Pani amuri e…timpulati" by the Nuova Compagnia Odèon, featuring family misunderstandings and laughter, in a packed open-air amphitheatre with free admission.
