Edition 2025 — Gratteri Early Music

The 19th edition of the Gratteri Early Music Festival took place from August 28 to 30, 2025, between Piazza Monumento and the Church of Santa Maria di Gesù. Three evenings dedicated to the encounter between classical and folk music, featuring Ambrogio Sparagna and the Lumenea ensemble, a Baroque guitar recital by Paolo Rigano, and the Ensemble Orfeo Futuro with soprano Maddalena Di Biase. Free admission.

19th Edition (2025)

The nineteenth edition of the Gratteri Early Music Festival was held from August 28 to 30, 2025. The festival opened on August 28 at 9:15 PM in Piazza Monumento with a concert by Ambrogio Sparagna and the Lumenea ensemble, dedicated to the ancient songs of Grecìa Salentina. On August 29 at 6:00 PM, the lecture "Sounds and Memories of Sicily in the Time of the Spanish" preceded the 9:15 PM Baroque guitar recital by Paolo Rigano titled "La chitarra alla spagnola" at the Church of Santa Maria di Gesù. The festival concluded on August 30, also at the Church of Santa Maria di Gesù, with the Ensemble Orfeo Futuro and soprano Maddalena Di Biase. All concerts were free to attend.
