Grape Harvest Festival

The 27th edition of the Grape Harvest Festival in Piedimonte Etneo was held from Friday, September 19 to Sunday, September 21, 2025, with free admission. The event, organized by the municipality, enlivened the squares and streets of the center for three days with markets, food and wine stalls, craft fairs, and traditional moments dedicated to the culture of Etna wine.

The heart of the festival was the evening concerts in Piazza Madre Chiesa: on Friday the 19th, the Roy Paladini Pop Show; on Saturday the 20th, a concert by Cecilia Gayle; and on Sunday the 21st, a variety show with Manlio Dovì and the Kilimangiaro Band. There was no shortage of folklore parades, grape-stomping in the outdoor stone press, and tastings of Etna wines, celebrating the rural tradition of Piedimonte Etneo, in the province of Catania.
