Edition 2025 — Jalari Grape Harvest Festival

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the Parco Museo Jalari hosted the 44th edition of the Grape Harvest Festival. A day entirely dedicated to peasant traditions, with grape treading in the 18th-century Palmento Verga, folk processions, tastings, exhibitions, and the grand bean stew finale offered to all visitors.

The 44th edition of the Grape Harvest Festival took place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Parco Museo Jalari in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (ME).

The day opened from 12:00 to 15:00 with the Putìa Jalari service, where visitors were able to taste bread made from ancient grains filled with organic products and vegetables from the AgriBio Jalari farm, along with local specialties and regional wine. From 15:30, the festival proper began with a colorful procession animated by the folk group I Melograno di Saponara, heading toward the wine press for the re-enactment of the grape treading.

Attractions of the day included: traditional games, the re-enactment of the ancient "U Babberi" barbershop with salon music, photographic exhibitions dedicated to past editions, and the luminous exhibition in honor of Mariano Pietrini. The festival concluded with the traditional bean stew and folk music performances by the group I Sarva la Pezza.
