Grape Festival of Castenaso

The 70th edition of the Grape Festival of Castenaso was held from September 12 to 21, 2025, spread over two weekends and dedicated to the theme "memory and innovation."

The first weekend (September 12-14) featured the classical music festival "Sibelius in Villa," a bike ride through churches and oratories, and solidarity initiatives for rare diseases. The second weekend (September 19-21) got into full swing with the Luva Park and grape stomping accompanied by DJ sets, the inauguration of the municipal swimming pool, the Palio delle Frazioni (Hamlets' Race), the Giro dell'Appennino bolognese, and the traditional closing fireworks display.

There were also art and photography exhibitions, workshops for children such as treasure hunts and itinerant readings, the Doggy Runway dog show, a vintage car parade, and guided tours of Villa Marana and the Museum of Villanova Civilization. On the gastronomic front, Pro Loco's crescentine, the traditional restaurant, the Greek tavern, the Beer Brothers Village, food trucks, and the novelty of grape ice cream were available. Admission was free, with à la carte menus at the establishments.
