Grape Festival of Castellarano

The 2025 edition of the Grape Festival, the 54th in its history, was held in Castellarano (RE) from Wednesday, September 17 to Sunday, September 21. Five days that transformed the village into a large stage between Piazza XX Luglio, Piazza del Municipio, and the streets of the center.

The program alternated wine tastings and themed dinners (including a historical dinner with a 14th-century menu), musical evenings with DJ sets, Latin music nights, and cover bands, and show moments with guests and public talks. Saturday was dedicated to outdoor activities — the grape cycling tour by mountain bike, the botanical walk "Nature and Walls", and demonstrations and games for children — while the closing Sunday featured the opening of the special market along the town streets and the traditional grape motorcycle rally.

The common thread throughout the event was the historical re-enactment in the medieval village, with costumed participants and the evocation of Castellarano in the 14th century, and the promotion of Emilian food and wine products.
