Edition 2025 — Grape and Wine Festival
The fourth edition of the Grape and Wine Festival was held in Fossacesia on Sunday, October 5, 2025, confirming its status as one of the most anticipated autumn events in the province of Chieti. At 2:00 PM, the grand parade of floats crossed the town streets with ten districts competing, their floats judged by a jury of five experts.
The afternoon continued with traditional games in Piazza Alessandro Fantini — tug-of-war, handkerchief games, sack races, and relay races for children — the performance of the flag-wavers and musicians of Lanciano, and live music by the band Cristal Sound. Numerous food and wine stalls offered local products and regional wines. The day concluded at 7:00 PM with the awards ceremony for the winning district. A free shuttle service connected the external parking lots to the historic center.
