Grape and Open Cellars Festival

The Grape and Open Cellars Festival 2025 was held in Giglio Castello from Thursday, September 25 to Sunday, September 28, organized by the Pro Loco Isola del Giglio e Giannutri with the patronage of the Municipality. Eight cellars opened their doors to the public, each with a menu rich in sea and land specialties, from cavatelli gigliesi to traditional desserts.

From Thursday to Saturday, the cellars welcomed visitors for dinner starting at 7:30 PM, while on Sunday, the event was held for lunch starting at 12:00 PM. In Piazzetta Volta, local winemakers offered guided tastings of Ansonaco. Wandering music animated the alleys from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM, followed by concerts in Piazza Gloriosa until the early hours of the morning.

Thursday 25, Friday 26, and Saturday 27 September — cellars open for dinner from 7:30 PM; wandering music in the alleys from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM; concerts in Piazza Gloriosa from 11:30 PM to 2:30 AM.

Sunday 28 September — cellars open for lunch from 12:00 PM.

Eight cellars open with Ansonaco tastings and traditional Giglio dishes. Guided tastings by winemakers in Piazzetta Volta.
