On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the Granpasso Castelli Romani took place in its autumn version, a choice that allowed participants to cross the woods of Rocca di Papa at the best time of the year, when the chestnut and beech forests of the Castelli Romani Regional Park change color.

This year's route, unique and without alternative distances, developed for about 13 kilometers through woodland trails and viewpoints overlooking the valley, in a non-competitive, leisurely formula open to hikers, athletes, and families.

The organization was handled by the ASD Atletica Rocca di Papa, which has been promoting the initiative for years as a tool for enhancing the territory and encouraging walking as a sporting activity accessible to everyone. The event was part of the calendar of events for the first weekend of October in the Castelli Romani, among festivals, cultural appointments, and nature-related activities.
