Granoni Festival 2025: via Vadoricci in celebration

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 8:30 PM, the Pro Loco SBiG brought the Granoni Festival to via Vadoricci, in the center of San Bartolomeo in Galdo (Province of Benevento, Campania). Also for 2025, the organization was handled by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the Municipality, as part of the Sanbartolomeana Summer program which that year ran from the beginning of August until the 26th of the same month.

Menu and music

The stands offered granoni — corn on the cob cooked on the spot —, along with sandwiches, arrosticini, beer, wine, and popcorn. The musical portion was entrusted to the live music of Retro Chic, who kept the street dancing until late in the evening. The local Sannio press included the festival among the main events of the weekend of August 8-10, 2025, in the Sannio area.

In the 2025 summer program

The same summer in San Bartolomeo in Galdo saw the Salt Cod Festival, the 'za mon'c ca cammic' Festival, the SBiG Cherry Tomato Festival with the Rocky Marciano Festival, and the 5th Rocky Marciano Award on August 16 and 17, and the closing show by Francesco Cicchella on August 26.
