Edition 2025 — Zampognari Gathering

On December 13, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Graniti hosted the fifth edition of the Zampognari Gathering. Throughout the evening, the painted village of the Alcantara Valley was filled with the sound of the ciaramedda: groups of zampognari took turns in the streets of the historic center with Christmas carols, pastoral melodies, and classic Sicilian repertoires, accompanied by tastings of typical local products.

The fifth edition of the Graniti Zampognari Gathering took place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM, enlivening the historic center of the village in the province of Messina.

The absolute star was the ciaramedda, the Sicilian bagpipe: groups of musicians walked through the narrow streets of the town, performing traditional Christmas songs, pastoral melodies, and classic repertoires of the island. The edition confirmed itself as one of the most heartfelt events in the Christmas calendar of the Alcantara Valley, combining folk music with the discovery of the village's murals and the tasting of the territory's typical flavors.
