Edition 2025 — Graniti Murales

The 2025 edition of Graniti Murales took place from June 22 to July 19, featuring a four-week residency dedicated to Italian and international mural artists. Hosted in the village of Graniti, in the province of Messina, the artists created new site-specific works, enriching the collection of the 'painted village' until the final Final Night Celebration.

Four weeks of art and community

Between June 22 and July 19, 2025, the village of Graniti, in the Alcantara Valley (province of Messina), hosted a new edition of the Graniti Murales residency. The artists selected via open call lived in the village for a period ranging from two to four weeks, welcomed by local families and accompanied by excursions in Sicily to Mount Etna, Catania, and Syracuse.

The organization provided paints, materials, and technical support, while each artist created a site-specific mural to be added to the more than thirty works already present in the historic centre. The residency concluded with the traditional Final Night Celebration, an evening party open to the community and visitors.
