Graniti Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Graniti Carnival renewed the carnival tradition of the village in the province of Messina, in the Alcantara Valley. As is customary, the local youth built the allegorical floats that paraded through the streets of the center, from Piazza Manganelli towards the Church of San Sebastiano, while local seamstresses crafted the costumes for the masked groups.

Alongside the parades, the program included a children's carnival with games and entertainment, tastings of traditional seasonal sweets, and evening dances with food stalls in Piazza Chiesa Madre. It was a festival built entirely by the community, confirming Graniti as a key destination for Carnival in the Taormina region.
