Edition 2025 — Grandparents' Day

On Thursday, October 2, 2025, Forano celebrated Grandparents' Day, a fixed appointment on the civil calendar of the Sabina municipality. As every year, the day was dedicated to recognizing the role of grandparents in the lives of families and the community, with initiatives promoted by local schools and associations in an informal and open-participation atmosphere.

The 2025 edition of Grandparents' Day in Forano took place on Thursday, October 2nd, in accordance with the date set by the 2005 national law. The observance, which is permanently included in the municipality's calendar of recurring events, confirmed its nature as an intergenerational celebration: a simple occasion, without tickets or stages, where children and the elderly gathered in schools and community spaces within the Bassa Sabina village.
