Grandi Vele 2025 in Gaeta and Ventotene

The 2025 edition of Grandi Vele - Vintage Sails Gathering was held from June 25 to 29, 2025, with the starting base in Ventotene and the finish in the Gulf of Gaeta, in the province of Latina. The organization was managed by the Yacht Club Gaeta E.V.S. under the auspices of the Italian Sailing Federation.

The initial regatta field was the area between the islands of Ventotene and Santo Stefano, with the coastal race La Manifesto di Ventotene of about 15 nautical miles; this was followed by La Vega, an offshore race of about 24 miles that brought the fleet from Ventotene to the Gaeta roadstead. The final two days were dedicated to the coastal races of Le Grandi Vele, held between medieval Gaeta and the Piana di Sant'Agostino.

As per tradition, vessels from the Vintage, Classic, Classic IOR, Spirit of Tradition, S&S Swan, Latin Sail, Metric Classes, and One Design categories were admitted. Registrations closed on June 15, 2025.
