Grand Carnival of Ancona

The Ancona Carnival 2025 was held on Saturday, March 1st, with a new format and nearly ten hours of entertainment. The parade started at 3:30 PM from Piazza della Repubblica and reached Piazza Cavour via Corso Garibaldi, with over 600 participants including single masks, couples, and groups.

The competition awarded the best masks in various categories – single, couple, group, neighborhood, schools, and university students – with awards concluding around 7:30 PM. The party then continued into the evening in Piazza Cavour with a DJ set by Radio Studio Più, reaffirming the Carnival as one of the most cherished events in the Marche capital.
