Edition 2025 — Gran Sasso Storytelling Villages
2025 Edition in Navelli
The second edition of the festival was held in Navelli on June 27 and 28, 2025, hosting two days full of meetings, round tables, shows, and moments of popular culture. The heart of the debate was dedicated to the crucial themes of inland areas: depopulation, essential services, new ways of living in villages, and the role of local communities in building regenerative tourism.
The novelty of the 2025 edition was the establishment of the "Gran Sasso Storytelling Villages" Association, which formally united the fifteen municipalities of the territory around a shared vision of sustainable and participatory development. The edition relaunched the success of the first, held in 2024, consolidating the network between the Gran Sasso villages, including Capestrano.
